Radio journalist Alexandra Schmid (34) from Zurich is the founder of Talkreich.com. Together with her microphone she’s on a long “talk-reich” journey.

Alexandra Schmid has been grappling with spiritual issues for 15 years. With both feet on the ground she’s always been intrigued by foreign civilizations and religions.

An 11-month overland-trip all the way to India via Turkey, Iran and Pakistan with all its diverse experiences initiated in her a process of questioning, observing and reporting. This motivated her to study journalism.

To focus on people’s stories and experiences gives her a lot of gratification. Her captivation for Asian countries has led her to complete the yoga teacher training in order to submerge more deeply into Indian philosophy.
